Introducing the New IMS Power Calender, here at i-man we believe that we have created the easiest to use yet most powerful job scheduling Calendar to hit the field service industry to date.  We have dubbed our new job scheduling Calender “IMS Power Calender” for one simple reason, it is so powerful.  One of the main reasons the IMS Power Calender is so useful is that it is so easy to use.  The design brief was clear, “Make it simple to use, but pack it full of features that our customers need” and that is what we have done.

Group Scheduling

The “New” IMS Power Calendar is like a traditional calendar program but also allows grouping of schedules, scheduling multiple resources to a task across multiple days and being able to move all of those schedules in one hit.  You can even create tasks or add new clients directly from the calendar!

How does it work?

So how does it work? Imagine having, say 10 blokes all booked out to the one job and that job was for three days.  With the new IMS Power Calender you can easily put all of the guys on the same job card and have their individual schedules updated out in the field automatically.  What makes the new IMS Power Calender so useful is you can easily move the whole crew in one easy step.  All you need to do is move the job card on the schedule and the whole crews schedule is instantly updated in one simple action. 

The new IMS Power Calender also allows multiple group schedules for the one job.  What this means is you can have different crews set for different days and each group schedule can be moved separately.

Calender Views

You can choose how you wish to view the Calender, by Month, Week, Day and even Week or Day view by Resource.  It is so simple to switch the Calender view and blisteringly fast.  Resources can be given a colour so that you know who is on what job at a glance.  Dragging and Dropping a job from one guy to another is so simple and everyone’s schedule is instantly updated in the field.

Calendar Filters

The Calendar has the ability to filter out certain schedules based on a set of filters. Currently the set includes; Resources, Clients, Locations, Projects, Assets, Task Types and Priority. When a filter is set the calendar will only show schedules that meet those filters. Also, all lists of tasks (job cards) will too be filtered by those filters to allow for easier scheduling.
